The blade is meticulously hammered to create a beautiful Tsuchime (hammered) pattern, which aids in food release during cutting. The blade edge is polished with a bright finish, showcasing the exquisite Damascus folding pattern.
Yoshihiro, a renowned figure in Sakai's blade-making community, hails from a lineage rooted in the blacksmithing traditions that originated from Tanegashima.
