Yoshihiro Tsuchime Finish VG10 17-layer Damascus Steel Nakiri
Description
Crafted by Goh Umanosuke Yoshihiro in Sakai City, Osaka, Japan, the knife combines Sakai's 600 years of forging tradition with the ancient art of Damascus folding. It features a folded Damascus stainless steel, with a corrosion-resistant VG10 core.
The blade is manually hammered to create a beautiful Tsuchime pattern, which aids in food release during cutting. The blade edge is polished with a bright finish, showcasing the exquisite Damascus folding pattern.
The Nakiri has a flat and wide blade, making it convenient for chopping various vegetables and fruits into chunks or strips, and it's particularly suitable for slicing cakes and pastries.
On the other hand, the straight edge of the Nakiri allows it to be used as a utility knife for peeling and julienning radishes. A Nakiri is an essential, versatile tool suitable for both professional and home use.
