Description

This crafted masterpiece from Sakai Shoryu, the "Hon-Kasumi Mioroshi style Gyuto," uses Ginsan stainless steel. It is hand-forged with three layers of steel, featuring extremely hard, sharp, and rust-resistant Ginsan steel, meticulously honed to create the ultimate knife in the stainless steel family.

The blade is treated with a Hon-Kasumi finish, presenting a minimalist texture of misty silver-gray through the delicate technique of the artisan, embodying the essence of ultimate taste.

The Mioroshi style Gyuto, with its detached shape, is slightly narrower than usual, providing a lighter grip. It allows for more delicate processing when handling meat, fish, and vegetables.

Handle: octagonal handle with buffalo horn ferrule and Shitan wood

This product comes with a Magnolia wood Saya.

How to Maintain Stainless Steel Knives

After use, simply wipe the knives dry to remove any moisture. Do not use a dishwasher to clean your knives. If you plan not to use the knives for an extended period, it's advisable to apply a thin layer of protective oil.

Ensure you use the knives correctly, as they are designed for specific functions such as slicing, chopping, or handling frozen foods. Avoid using them beyond their intended purpose, as this can lead to damage.
